Will this add-on amp. do anything for me?

My head unit's specs. say it has mosfet RMS 50Wx4 amplifier.

I received these speakers for free to replace my stock speakers:
Front:

My friend is offering me his Alpine KTP-445 Power Pack:

He says it'll be better than powering the speakers directly from the head unit.

He can modify the KTP-445 to work with my head unit. I noticed though that the KTP-445's specs. shows it only does RMS 45Wx4.

Will it still be better than powering the speakers directly from the head unit?

It's a Pioneer AVIC-Z130BT.

Should help a lot head units actually put out 20-22W RMS. They fudge the numbers that's really peak.

Yes, the Pioneer is only 22W RMS X4.
