Will this 2.5 HDD (SATA-300) work with this (SATA-150)?

Lenovo ThinkPad T60

Which is a SATA-150 drive.

I'd like to upgrade it to this:

Will it work? Will it be faster (does the SATA-300 go down to SATA-150 speeds)?

No one knows this? From what I've read SATA-300 is backwards compatible with SATA-150 in almost all cases, just want to make sure.

Of course it will work.

Some Lenovo products cripple SATA2 but it will still work.
