Will these old files cause a problem?

I have a collection of old 3dfx files in windows/options/cabs. Can I leave these here w/o interference, or should I delete them? Thanks for any help.

well, whenever windows looks at the cab directory it's simply looking for the original cabs that it installed off of (that's why if it asks you for the windows cd you can just point it at that directory)

so any other files in that directory just get ignored.

therefore, don't worry about deleting them
