Will these New mobile chips work on my board?

I have abit kx7-333. Will these work on my board? right now i have 2400 xp. Is it just a waste of money upgrading it to the 2600 m? i wanna try to oc it. Do i need to get a better board and memory?

Why don't you try overclocking the 2400 you have already? Many folks think the 2400,2500,2600 overclock to the same max anyway, and since you're not guaranteed that one 2500 will overclock as well as another identical 2500, your 2400 may itself be a better overclocker than the 2600 you might order.

Because he doesn't own an overclocking board! Why don't you spend less money, and get an nForce2 board, so you can overclock that 2400? Mine runs up to 2.4ghz.:D

nice name, myocardia. So whats a good OC board to get? Abit NF7-s? I wanted something that will lock agp/pci. Dont want to fry them. Also, will i need to upgrade my memory too? Thanks guys.

Yeah, I would recommend either the NF7-S or the NF7 if you want to save $20, and don't need SATA. Of course, the Biostar M7NCD is only $53, and it's a nice board, if you don't need the better onboard sound that the Abit NF7's have. And you won't have to replace your memory, unless you are wanting optimum performance, because you can raise the memory's voltage, and relax the timings a little. You might not make it all the way to 200fsb, but with the pci/agp locks that all nForce2 boards have, that won't be much of a problem.:D
