Will these hardware run Window 7 64bit

Hello peeps

I was just curious if my old PC would run Window 7 64bit or 32bit

CPU=AMD 4000+ 939 (Clawhammer)
Mobo= Asus A8N-Sli Delux
VGA=Evga 8600GT in (SLi)
PSU=500
 
You didn't give the most important component, your memory size. You need at least 1GB of memory. Keep in mind if your computer came with 1GB of memory and you have integrated graphics sharing system memory, you won't have the needed 1GB to install Windows 7. This was a very standard configuration for cheaper computers from a couple of years ago.
 
You may have a problem with Cool n Quiet, I discovered my 939 dual wouldn't work under 7. But may also be dependent on motherboard as well.

edit: problem being it will just run full throttle 😀
 
why do 64bit with 2gb of ram? i usually don't bother until 5-6gb of ram unless.

32bit gives you that stupid 2gb/2gb (or 3gb/1gb in some windows) ram limit but since you have the lessor of both ???

6gb is cool because you could run a 32 bit app with 2gb of real ram and another 64bit app with 3gb of in system memory and the o/s could have its piece of the piece to run efficiently.
