is the GTO based on the F-body? I know they both share the same body. are there any other "refinement?"

I thought the GM f-bodies had been discontinued.
Isn't the new GTO based on the Australian Holden?

Pretty much an ENTIRELY different car. Only real similarities that I can tell, is that they are both RWD, and powered by a fire breathing V8.

Or, at least this is how we referred to them when I was growing up.

a new GTO would be nice.

I thought it was the Grand Prix that was based off the Holden car.
