Will there be an AT ownage of the year 2007 post?

I remember seeing an "ownage of the year" post on AT for the past few years. Members would link ownage threads, and then a poll would be created in a second post to determine the winner. Here are some past ones:

2006
2005
2004

It looks like M4H organized all of them.

EDIT: It appears M4H has not logged on since 11/30/07. If this thread gets enough replies, maybe I can put together the ownage thread. ;)

*** UPDATE ***

I have gone through the thread and made of a list of the nominees. It looks like we may have enough to actually have a vote. In no particular order, here are the ones I found:

1. pcslookout claims to have received a job offer from Google:

link

2. The "Indian hitler" thread:

link

3. The Daniel Casio site:

link

4. CasioTech sketches

link

5. Big Fat Fish tries to return an item after already submitting the UPC, then claims it is unfair for CC to deny the return (see 3rd page for the OP, which was deleted):

link

6. Blazin Trav bids on a car on ebay, backs out, but then refuses to pay the seller's relisting fee:

link

7. tentacle pr0n (technically this one started in 2006)

link

8. ropeadope and the "get rich quick" blog:

link

9. WalMart gift card thread:

link

10. The "plane on a treadmill" thread:

link

Let me know if I missed any.

I nominated the Indian Hitler thread over in P&N. Mostly because the moron ended up owning himself.

Can I nominate some of the Casiotech threads from summertime? Especially the one where someone snatched up his domain name when it expired, or maybe the comic drawing ones.

-EDIT- Yoyo is too fast for me. But the CasioTech sketching thread was one of the funniest things I read last year. That and the severe ownage Yoyo laid down on pcslookout.

When was the thread where the guy bought a car because he thought his parents would pay for it, then of course they wouldn't and he was all pissed off? Anyone remember that? I seem to recall some major ownage in that one.

Just read it, it's great fun.

But to sum up:
OP posts he got accepted for a job offer at Google.
People congratulate him, then start to wonder if it's true given his awful grammar.
People ressurect old threads where he doesn't know how to use Netflix or credit cards.
Someone points out that Google puts all potential employees under NDA so they won't go telling everyone they might get a job with Google.
Yoyo comes in with one of the best posts ever, which I will quote verbatim:

So all the posts up until this point have all been an act eh?

Well, you got me.

No. A lot of people don't even know how to do their taxes.

I meant more along the lines of this

Ok, I give up. My gf wants attention now that she's here ;)

I left out the dozens of threads you made about getting your computer up and running and most of the Vista install problems.

I don't understand how someone that needs this much help to solve basic problems can be hired for a position like this.

Does google have any sort of appeals process where we can provide additional information to them about applicants?

So yeah, that's the thread in a nutshell. I didn't actually see what happened in the end, was it all a lie?

I only bothered looking up all those (and the other subsequent lists) since I spent so much time working with him to solve those and similar problems with him. I bet I posted in 90% of those projector threads walking him through the process like this example.
http://forums.anandtech.com/me...034533&highlight_key=y

I figured there was something preventing him from doing his own research (Not understanding English / Technologically clueless / some kind of disability), so I was shocked when he mentioned that he could be working at Google.

As for an update, we haven't heard one as far as I know despite his continued posts since then. I can only assume that he did not get the job from Google (if there even was a job offer).

M4H is dead. I killed him while he was hunting me.

Live by the sword, die by the sword. (Ironically, his .50 Desert Eagle was no match for my Lightsaber)
