If I had to bet money on it I'd say they would... but that doesn't mean much.

Since they use USB that means they have an onboard dac... basically it has a built in soundcard where all the processing is done.

www.stereo-link.com is a quick example of an external soundcard.. there are other tho a few are 1/2 the size of your palm.

One general theme tho is that they all work in windows/mac9.something/linux2.4. USB sound is like a standard or something, so long as the os supports it it works.

But then again creativelab's new egitiy or whatever which uses usb, does more than just that, so it problaby needs software. The most basic usb soundcard tho, doesn't need drivers so long as the os supports it.

SO anyways....

BAH okay so i just searched on google "usb speakers, mac, using them in windows?" first link BAH!

First part of first post : "I bought these speakers with the hope that they would work with the Windows XP. I got the speakers today(10-19-2001) and plugged them into my USB port and sure enough the WIN XP installed them automatically with no problems. I also have the SB Audigy sound card and love the sound. I am more of a music fan at my computer so these sticks work awsome the highs and the lows are defined beatifully. "

SO i guess that makes it alot easier.
