Will the "Sort by post date" option be once again available?

In the old format, there was this option to not have the most recently replied to topics "bumped" to the top. Was this option removed or is it now in another section? If it was removed, will it once again be implemented?

I agree, I always went to the today screen to check on topics I replied too, now it give me the messages I replied to in the order they're in the system(not the order I replied to them)
 
Yea we need to be able to sort posts by recent posting - rather than by most recent bumpage. It is impossible to keep up with new posts vs the 3 month old constantly bumped posts.
 
Please bring this option back. From my perspective, this is the one change that most affects the way I browse these forums.
 
This current system without ascending / descending sorting by original post date is completely unusable to me. Until it's fixed, I won't be frequenting or contributing to these forums (which is sad as it was one of my favorite places on the web). I'm sure I'm not the only one.
 
I would just like to add my voice to this thread. I would like to see the ability to sort by the date of the original post re-added to the forums.
 
I would like this back as well. The For Sale forum is going to be very difficult for me to use with the bumpage...
 
I am already sick of this crap. Put some of the stuff back like the Thread Sort. And please make the fonts bigger I am going blind.
 
Please, please, please restore this option. It's impossible to keep up with current posts when everything old gets bumped to the top. The other day I read a special in Hot Deals for "new phonautographic Etchings on Discs of Wax for Use on the Gramophone to woo your Lady in the most modern Fashion."

Come on!

I heard that the option was removed because less than one percent used this option. This option really helps me, especially in the For Sale section of the forums.

Looks like this thread turned into a petition for the option to be reinstated. 😉
 
no that was the option concerning posts inside of a thread. to make the latest post show up on top instead of the first.
 
Since all the "Your Latest Messages" are now sorted by newest reply by anyone at the top, half of my list is now stickies, which won't ever go away. I need to be able to either sort by my most recent reply (like it somewhat used to be), or to be able to remove the stickies that are there. The list needs to be bigger too.

Also the subscriptions should only send you one notice of a reply, until you have read that thread, to keep from flooding your email.
I wish the mods would quit removing all my subscriptions too, when my email has temporary outage and bouces back notifications. But if it the above feature I mentioned, this wouldn't be as much of a problem to AT.

And there needs to be some way to sort the favorites list, and show a date by each.
