Tabasco is the only hot sauce there is. Tobasco (Original) Pepper sauce. The flavor, the bang, the tang... If you want to make a better sauce it had better be like a party in my mouth with everyone invited, because Tobasco will reign supreme forever.

Tabasco Jalapeno (green Tabasco) has an excellent flavor also, but nothing touches the original.

a little OT, but this reminded me of something.

A freind of mine is a chef at a local country club. It was 'chili night' or something gay like that, so he decided to spice it up by throwing some habenero peppers in the mix. It heated things up a little more than he bargained for. I guess he had some really PO'd customers that night.

I'm in awe of Blair's 3AM sauce. Though, it really shouldn't count since they say all over the page that it's an additive only. I like the way Tabasco's Habanero Sauce tastes. Good stuff.

A place here in town, Harvey Washbanger's, serves Release Form Wings. If you eat all 8 of them, you get a shirt and your name put on a plaque. They are the hottest things I have ever had in my entire life.

Tabasco is for wusses. You should try some extra hot real Malaysian chili powder some times. My ex-wife uses that when she makes curry. Her curry is never sour, yet I've seen Indians, Pakistani and Mexican guests ask for water with shock & disbelief in their eyes. One palaeontologist form Islamabad said that it was like nuking your insides and asked her for her recipy.

Well, I prefer the food to be hot, spicy, and tasty. Not just hot. There's no point to eating stuff that's hot for the sake of it being hot unless you're showing off.

Although if you like hot, and you're from st louis you might know of daves insanity sauce.....I still remember when teh mad hoosier from the steve and d.c. morning show ate some.....funny stuff I tell you.

mmmmm my favorite hot sauce right now is Frank's Red Hot.... I just love the flavor... better for me then Tabasco.... for ME....

Since when does not liking something make me not a man. I don't like the flavor of original Tabasco. It is not to hot for me. Most times I prefer spicy over hot anyway. Two of my favorites are Krystal(not hot just spicy) and Trappey's Red Devil.

Ahh..yakko does know what he's talking about. Crystal and Trappeys are both excellent! I like the Trappey's green pepper sauce (you know, the one with the peppers in the bottle)on greens...collard, mustard, whatever. Crystal is great too, alot like Tabasco, just less spicy. Very good flavor. I like it on steak sandwiches. But, my father being from New Iberia, Louisiana, the home (until Avery Island seceded from N.I.) of Tabasco, I must say that original Tabasco is thegreatest hot sauce of all time! The habanero sauce is good too, but not as good as the stuff my dad steals from this mexican restaurant in Houston What can I say, he's a hot sauce addict!
