Will the pushpins of the Blue Orb line up with the holes next to Geforce2 GPU?

...or are you forced to use thermal epoxy as the only way to secure it to the GPU? The reason I ask is because I really want to use some Arctic Silver paste and have the pushpins securing it to my GF2 Pro. Picture of my card here. Don't laugh 😉 I just got this Pro for $200 shipped at Newegg (out of stock now) and want to improve the cooling before I OC it. Works great so far! Thanks for any advice you can give!

they probably will, but if they don't you can go to plan "B", take 4 small zipp ties (the ones used by electricans to tie cable bundles together, also called cable ties) cut the heads off 2 of them, then position the blorb on the GF2 chip and insert the 2 whole cable ties through the holes in the blorb, then through the holes in the board. Grab the 2 heads that you just cut off and run them up the ends of the ties you just put through the board, if their the typical nylon ones you will hear them "zipp", that way you know you have them on the right way. Tighten them untill your happy with how the blorb is sitting and cut the excess off.

I'm using that method to hold the 2 blorbs on my V5...

it should do as I know for a fact that the borb fits on a matrox card which has the same hole spacing as the GF2!

Thanks volenti and bacillus! I'll get that puppy ordered and if it doesn't line up properly, I'll use the zip-tie method. I love this forum - the stuff I learn here really comes in handy!

the blue orb will definately fit on GF2 card

i have a GF2 MX and the blue orb is stick on the card with the pins come with the orb
