Will the plugin market for IE ever be as vast FF?

I notice the plugin market is slim to none with IE compared to FF. Is this something that any of you believe will change in the near distant future? I notice a lot of plugins for FireFox but rarely if ever IE. I don't even trust IE plugins to begin with lol.

I don't see many people willing to improve a microsoft's product for free.

Not gonna happen. Why would people work for free for Microsoft?

Much of what FF uses plug-ins for is built into IE7 w/o having to add anything.
