Will the PC ever have an NFL game again?

*Sigh* Today's draft day and I want to play some football but I don't feel like installing madden 2004 with its crappy graphics.
I just want EA to release a Madden game with a new engine so I can buy it and be done with the series for another 10 years, I don't really mind a crappy port, I just want my football.

Madden 2010 will be on the PC.

During a financial call today the mega-publisher announced that it would be bringing Madden back off the bench next year (along with other shelved games) on PC. Peter Moore said EA Sports will be "Retooling these titles to take advantage of the online connectivity in a bigger and more meaningful way.

Did a little research and found this article dated March 31st...more disappointment guess EA doesn't want my money.

I might pick it up but it won't cure my craving for a normal football game.

EA has made it quite clear they wont put up with us bitchy, whiny PC gamers demanding high quality games at reasonable prices.
They would rather milk the ignorant console crowd for 60 bucks a pop every year.

I know how you feel man. Every year around this time i get the urge to do something footballsy.....i wish madden were here on pc to fill that hole
