Will the PC ever get Battlefield 1943?

Hope this hasn't been asked ten thousand times. I had forgotten about this title for some time and just how much I was looking forward to it. Even on dices website it still says that it will eventually be on the pc. What's the hold up? Is the PC going to get Battlefield 1943?

If not would probably be the biggest disappointment in all of pc gaming for me as far as canceled titles go.

They officially announced it's cancellation when they announced they would be focusing on BF3 development. Now they've officially announced BF4. Forget about it.

You know, I was thinking about this. Does the name "BF4" necessarily mean that it will remain modern theme? Black Ops 2 is future theme but they kept the naming convention. I'm also quite surprised that they would stick with modern theme for the next game after MoH2...you'd think it's time 2143.
