Actually it's united and energized the Dem front like nothing else. It will be quite an accomplishment that helps millions of Americans. People won't lose their insurance when get sick and people with pre-existing conditions will be able to get insured. The No party and all their ridiculous fear mongering could not stand up to reason and have embarrassed themselves. Obama will be able to do anything he wants for the rest of his term.

Let me guess, you don't know anything other than the talking points either.

The blind following the idiots.

Well, time to get out the lawyers and challenge this and while I scarcely believe I'm saying it, it's time to vote Republican.

Let see,
A strong majority of Americans do not support this legislation.
Back room deals had to be made in order to pass this legislation.
The approval rating of congress is in the tank.

Well good for you! You've been a lockstep Republican talking point for awhile now though. Congrats.

I've been against supporting idiots in office. It's your turn. The Reps turned the WH and Congress over to you with the dumb shit they did, and not to be outdone, you are hoping to do the same. I think you have a pretty good shot at it.

They're both in the pockets of big business, so any ideological differences are minor. Or perhaps more accurately, inconsequential.

If that were true, there wouldn't be any healthcare legislation pending at all, now would there?

"They're all the same!" is the new rallying cry on the Right, closely followed by "vote for me, because I feed your self-righteous rage, denial, and indignation better than they do!"

When you cling to ideological failure, when that's all you have to build upon, the only possible course of action is to tear down the opposition...

I have nothing to do with this Congress, President, etc. I just want the P&N threads to go onto another Issue to discuss already. :D

Meh, I haven't much motivation because the whole nation has become increasingly stupid over the last 12 years or so. No doubt you are a lot younger than me, but I remember people doing things like thinking before speaking.

Out of vogue :p

Probably not younger(mid-40's), just a Foreigner with nothing better to do than Nef in P&N :D.
