Will the P5W-DH Deluxe Work with a 7950 GX2?

Skott, are you SURE? I need something difinitive if I am going to pay well over $500 on a card.

Skott, if you have any documentation or screen shots of this, it would be greatly apprecitated... not that I dont trust your word, its just that I have gotten so many back and forth answers to this question.
 
i ended up returning that card cuz i couldn't get my pc to boot with it even though my mobo was on the compatible list with newest bios. lost $90 on restocking fee. i'm never buying nvidia again.

Could have been a bad card, should have RMA'd it. What motherboard?
 
I read some posts the 7950GX2 runs fine with the P5W DH. Here is the latest link I have read. Notice how they're telling him it runs but not in dual mode. Meaning it wont run SLI (2x7950)

Edit: Also notice how that nVidia site doesnt list the P5W DH mobo. Its been out for short while now. Hence my conclusion its not updated frequently enough. The only P5W mobo they list is the P5WD2, which, from my understanding, isnt the same mobo.

I would tend to believe the users that say they have the 7950 on the P5W DH but I would suggest double check everything just to make sure.

I have evga card and that board.

The installed them yesterday.

8800 on 3dmark 6

2 giga corsair ram 6700 duo intel 2.7gh

all default settings no overclock.

Seems like Device manager sees 2 x the gfx card.

Multi gpu setting enabled at software with no erros.

Im no master but my scores and stuff shows they are working both inside the card ) the GPU ).

Cant be otherwise right ?

Anybody can confirm my values with 1/2 GPU fogures ?

Surely the card can SLI itself inside wether the board is Crossfire or SLI.

If you see on 7950 Gx2 there are Crossfire boards there too..... It only does not work if u try 2 x 7950 gx2 cards for QUAD.

U can get normal SLI with 1 card, and use its 2 processors, just not QUAD.... which is hardware sli.
 
Just as an added update, I bought the p5w-dh deluxe and a XFX 7950, and they DO WORK!

I have been gaming on it and every game works fine, 3dmark, etc.

Get it and enjoy it!
