will the Opteron be able to run in 64bit mode under Windows Server 2003 64bit version?

title says it all really...

...i know microsoft says the itanium will run in 64bit, but it doesn't mention the Opteron. anyone?

Probably not the one released currently, there will probably be a 64-bit edition for Opterons in the future though. Right now, that version wouldn't even install I bet.
 
The current Windows Server 2003 64bit version is for the Itaniums only.

There will be a separate version for the Opteron.
