Will the NYSE and NASDAQ be hammered again today?

Hmmm... Micron is the latest to join the list of companies to announce disappointing earnings. I have a bad feeling that things may get ugly today. Working for a semi-conductor maker, I am really beginning to feel for those that plowed a lot of cash into company stock near its high.

Across the board, the NYSE should rebound today as the S&P futures are up this morning.

Indications from Paine Webber and Salomon today (12/1) say that they have the highest indications of margin calls ever in their history.

Market is going to tank.

early indicators for this morning suggest no, both major indexes are up. However, that says nothing about where it will close at

But yeah that margin call thing is a vicious cycle. Markets fall, margin calls come in, sell, market falls even more, etc.

I really don't mind if it does tank again. The lower it gets, the more likely I am to buy some more! =)
