will the Noctua NH-D14 fit in my P180 Mini?

Hard to say. I bought one of the heatsinks, and it is BIG. Antec, unfortunately, has very little documentation about the internal heights and dimensions. I am hoping that it fits in an Antec Remote Fusion Max case (if it does, it will be by .5mm or so).

The NH-D14 is the tallest heatsink I have ever seen. Taller even than the Scythe Orochi. You need around 6.7 inches internal space to have a chance (to take into consideration the width of the motherboard/cpu socket and motherboard standoffs).

you're trying to put the Noctua D14 into the Antec Fusion? The specs say it has a height of 7.5"... U think the d14 will fit?

Height shouldn't be a problem - but I could see it possibly running into the back of the optical drive mount. You'll have to either try it yourself or hopefully someone with that specific application will chime in.

It fits a Xigmatek s1283 with a few mm to spare. Not sure how that compares height wise to the Noctua though.

The official specs say the Noctua is 1mm taller than the Xigmatek (160mm vs 159mm). I would always take height specs with a grain of salt, though... never know if they include stuff like the little knobs on the top of the heatpipes. That's what happened with my Scythe Mine, the heatsink knobs ran into my big ass side fan on my Enermax Phoenix, so I couldn't use a tower cooler.

The s1283 is 159mm tall :)

is that what you're using in your mini p180? how much room do u have until u hit ur side door?

on a side note: my mini p180 today came damaged from newegg. they really gotta start shipping cases inside other boxes, or package them better. getting it cross shipped right now

Yes it is. I haven't actually measured it, but it's pretty close to the side panel. I don't think you'll have any problems if the Noctua is only 1mm taller.

I checked out mymiddle 140mm fan and noticed the blades moving, but not enough power to spin. Is this because I have CPU fan speed set to auto in bios?

Probably. Check the BIOS, hopefully you've got some control over the temperature that the fan spins up at. I'm not too familiar with recent Cool n' Quiet settings.

yea i think when i disable the CPU fan speed in Bios control, both fans spin at full speed, i'm just wondering why only 1 of the fans are spinning at 100+ rpm when the middle (140mm) fan doesn't get enough voltage to start spinning.

Anything i can do here other than disable the CPU fan speed control in bios?
