fact is, the NFL has been EXTREMELY successful over the past 20 yrs. it's one of the few sports that has been able to maintain and even grow in an era where TV is rapidly loosing it's hold on the american public.

Not in Sacramento they don't. Hell, we just got an entire network dedicated to the Kings last season. Every single game was televised and I know we didn't sell out every game.

Well, it is the NFL who is giving out the fines. Maybe the Seahawks decided that a preseason game isn't worth the fine.
