Im wondering about this. SOo far I know sept 11th Im gonna buy the ivy E

here is my question.

since I know Im not going to upgrade for many years to come..

I have funds to drop a 4960x . Why though if 4930k is same thing. just less L3 cache,,

Question is does it matter 12mb L3 vs 15 L3 for the flagship

Why should I pay twice the price 1k ? only reason I would buy it if people say you can OC it to 5Ghz stable....

Can the Extreme processors OC better then the 4930k

Thanks in advance.

You definitely should spend the extra money and buy the 15MB version. You can OC it to 5GHz stable. Buy two and have yourself the equivalent of a 10GHz setup.
