Will the new 533mhz fsb P4's require new motherboards?

I want to buy a P4 with RDRam just for kicks, and I was wondering if boards like the TH7-II and P4T-E are going to work at 133mhz FSB, and also work with PC1066 RDram.

Depends, although I think you may need to do so some tweaking to make sure that they work.

If you are planning on purchasing, then I suggest waiting for just one more month until the boards with the i850E and i845E chipsets are actually released.

heh heh, that could help huh?. How long till the i850E chipsets hit the market?, will it be a long wait, or will I be able to get one easy within a month?. Will Intel drop the 533 bomb-shell on AMD when those T-Breds show up?, seems likely, I dont see why the E chipsets would be poping up if they weren't planing on it. The timing is just to perfect if you ask me.

The new boards will accept both 16bit and 32bit RDRAM so you may not want to buy 16bit RDRAM knowing that in a couple months it'll be old tech.
