Not really, no. I have the MDP-130 myself. If you just wanted to output a video signal from the cable box, you'll only be able to input S-Video or Composite (480i) to the tuner (which would defeat the purpose of HDTV). Otherwise, you could connect your cable line directly to the card and receive the unencrypted channels - which is generally limited to the HDTV locals (not the extra "premium" or pay channels). Either way, there's no way to view encrypted HDTV channels over cable on the PC yet with any tuner that I know of - unless your cable box has an unprotected Firewire output.
