Will the MSI K7N2 Unlock ...??

Will the MSI K7N2 unlock the multipliers on my amd xp2100 T-bred "b". I look in my bios and it is showing different values to choose from. But will it actually unlock the chip??

No. The multipliers it shows are the lower range. That board though with the xp2100+ actually gives you the upper range. Any multiplier you select in the bios will in reality be doubled. That being said it is possible to unlock the lower multiplier range for the XP2100+. There are a couple of methods. 1)The wire trick where a fine strand of wire is inserted into 2 of the cpu sockets holes. Method 2) (This is how i did mine) connecting the 5th L3 bride on the cpu with conductive paint by making a sideways horseshoe shaped trace around the right side of the pit to connect the bridge.

I also have the K7N2-L and couldn't get a 2100+ unlocked either.

I have my 2100+ running at 2700+ i.e. 13 x 166 FSB.
I want to run a 13.5 multi......how do i do this in the bios? Do i need the wire trick???

I can't really up the FSB as i think my crucial pc2100 won't do much more than 166MHz at CL2.

Thanks for any help.
