Will the Maze4 water block fit a X1900 XT?

Well, the title pretty much says it all. I have a Maze4 GPU water block that is outfitted with the hole patterns for the older ATI cards as well as the newer NVidia (7800 series for example). I was wondering if I could bolt this babby onto a X1900. Does anyone know if ATI used the same mouting hold pattern as the X1800? It sure does look like it to me, but I haven't see too many X1900 with the fan stripped yet!

As long as it's the newer version of the block with the x-pattern mounting (4 holes), it should work just fine.

I'll be trying it myself in a few days :)

That's good and bad. I have the old style that only has the single set of mounting points. Maybe I'll need to upgrade the water block while I'm at it...

I'm pretty much set on getting the X1900. I looked at DangerDen's web site and they have a hold down bracket they make for this water block and cards like the X1800. So, I should be good to go. And it is only $7 too. I'll happily spend that much money so I don't have fabricate some little piece like this!

It's been running on water for the last week or so. I did have to buy the current 6800 style "hat" for the MAZE4. This uses the four point mounting system and it is a perfect fit on the X1900. I used aluminum heat sinks for the RAM.

The results? MUCH better! Needless to say, that fan on the card was WAY louder than I liked. Now, it never gets above 39C under full load (fully overclocked). Before, it was pushing up towards 70C.

Stock, the best the ATI overclock utility would give me was 630 Mhz (yes, just BARELY above stock!) on the GPU and about 750 Mhz on the RAM. On water, the GPU is maxed out at 690 Mhz (most the ATI CCC will overclock it) and the memory is also maxed out at 800 Mhz. I have a feeling it has a lot more room in it once I get better RAM sinks and use an aftermarket OC tool. As it is, I am very happy with it's performance. Definitely worth moving it to water cooling.

Oh. And the card looks absolutely tiny with just that water block installed! That factory cooler is HUGE!
