Will the GTO2 ever be available in AGP?

I read that the agp version of this card is available in Europe. Is this because they're less likely to convert to pci-e (ie easier to force the american market to upgrade)? Has anyone heard anything about an agp version being available here?

Anyone seen the agp for sale? Pagecomputers has one listed but after talking to them it appears to be a misprint.
