Will The CS5 Suite Run On Windows 8?

Thinking of buying the wife a new laptop. Her's is 3 years old (Win 7, 2.5 dual core P8700, 4 gb ram) and slowing down. She uses the CS5 suite a lot, especially photoshop.

Anyone running CS5 on Windows 8?

microsoft says it should work
i think windows 8 is pretty much backwards compatible with windows 7

My wife has a laptop with a dual core Pentium (2.2Ghz)and 3GB ram I bought her in March 2010. I put an SSD in it last summer, and it seems much faster than the Core i5 laptop I just set up for her mother. Just another option.

A new hdd and more ram is being considered.

I've installed older - CS2 on Win8, installed ok, opened a photo, but didn't do anything else...

Been running it since day 1. Even the beta version had no problem.
