So yesterday the Crucial 128GB SSD was 84.99 USD and I was stupid enough to not buy it because I thought it would still be at the same price today(Tuesday). The price went back to 114.99 USD today(as well as the WD Scorpio Black hard drives).

I'm sure it will, but that's the nature of the beast. The beast of sales. Chalk it up as a lesson and move on.

Sign up for Newegg's 'newsletter' and usually you will get an email very early in the morning about the day's current deals/Shell Shockers. Or keep your eyes peeled over at BensBargains.com.

SSD prices are diving FAST

You were not stupid, but smart to wait.

Longer you wait, less you will pay.

I'm holding off simply because I'm willing to wait extra 5-10 seconds on map load times....and OS load up time is irrelevant to me (as well as other SSD benefits).

Crucial M4 128GB is $100 at newegg, not $115

They're still going down steadily. I'd expect to find 128GB drives on sale for $60 within 6 months

As others have noted, you're better off looking for deals on 256GB models. The savings will be about the same, relatively, and you'll not have to be as concerned about filling the thing up. My 128GB 830 is about 60% full and I am putting all new programs and data on another rotational drive; 256GB 830 inbound, hopefully soon.

I agree that all computer components go down in price. You just need to wait.

SSD will be cheaper in the future...
As will most electrical components.

Why would you say that? CPUs are still just as expensive as before, GPUs are just as expensive as before. It's just the older generations that become cheaper - until they're out of production and out of stock. Whereas with SSD's, we're getting new generations that are consistently cheaper than past generations.
