Will the case overheat?

Hey, this friday my computer will be finally built. AMD x2 3800+, startech case(probably crap), but anyways, im going to buy a 120mm vantec or thermaltake fan, do you think this will be enough cooling for keeping the cpu stock? If I really need to i will buy 2 40-60mm for the front intake. I'm not sure exactly what size they are, so I have to take it apart and look at it. But do you think I will be safe with just 1 fan everything stock?

Depends on a) your heatsink and b) your video card.

It's always a good idea to have an intake fan though for fresh, cool air.

You should never go below 80mm for any of your case fans. The high-pitched noise from them is pretty annoying. Definitely worth cutting your own fan/screw holes to add a 80mm-120mm fan instead.

Which model is it? Some of their cases are fairly decent.

"Fan Mount Sizes 80mm, 120mm"

Should be fine. Open it up and take a look at the front bottom of the case, you'll probably see mounting holes for 80mm there.

To make it quiter, get some tin snips and cut out the stock fan grills. For the front you won't need one at all (covered by the front panel) and for the back get one of these. You should be able to find them at a local compusa.
