634 Credit Rating? (I didn't realise it had dropped 60 points :( )

Need 1300 by Thursday to put up first and last on a gorgeous apartment. Think there is any hope? I was gonna take it out as a Student line of credit (university student). I can pay back the 1300 on July 4th....just the landlords want the proof of the funds (Certified check) to hold the apartment for me.

:( I figured I would ask here before the bank to avoid the credit ding they would hit me with when they do the hard inquiry.

Almost certainly no, but not just because of your credit, which could be worse, it's because banks don't give out lines of credit without some collateral, at least in most cases. What collateral do you have besides your credit rating? Nothing, so they won't go for it.

credit score by itself means nothing really. Depends on a lot of factors. I'd sit down with your own bank and see what they can do.

A cash a check place would probably work for you. You give them a filled out check + 15% or so and they hand you cash. They will cash your check on that date.
