Yes it sure does. Just be extra careful when hooking the clip on the rear lugs.

I'd like to know the answer to this too because apparently the changes were enough that the Alpha 8045 wouldn't fit. the Thermalright AX-7 is smaller, but you never know...

I emailed Thermalright so I'm waiting for a response.
