will the athlon xp's drop in price?

i'd like to upgrade my 2500 to a 3200, but the xp3200 cpu is a few bucks more in cost then a a64 3000, that seems kind of silly.

I kind of doubt it. If you overclock though, you can almost certainly achieve 3200+ speeds, from what I've read. If you don't want to do that, then I'd strongly advise just saving your money until you can afford an A64 + motherboard.

i tryed overclocking it, and blew up my ram, i guess you could say it didnt go all that well
