Will the Athlon 4 work on the Epox 8K7A fine?

I ordered the Epox 8K7A a couple days ago and it should be here soon. Now, next on the list is the CPU.

I just heard about this new CPU coming out in August just a few minutes ago. Now I'm wondering if I should wait. Unless I just get a Tbird 1333mhz now, and then later on upgrade.

But I'm just wondering if the Athlon 4 will be completely compatable with this board. They said in the review it will work with Socket A's, but I just want to make sure.

I don't think it's actually been stated, wether the Athlon 4 will be compatible with all current SocketA mobos.
I believe they will be though, since they are also using SocketA. As long as the mobo manufacturer puts out a new BIOS to support the new VCores, and multipliers and whatnot.
The only problem though, is that current SocketA mobos will most likely not be able to read the internal diode on the new CPUs for temps.

Ooops...sorry guys, I just realized that I accidently posted this in the wrong forum...argh...I meant to post it in the Motherboards forum!

And yes, it has been stated right here at amendtech in the Athlon 4 review that they will work with Socket A.
