Hey guys. I made a foolish mistake. i bought a logiteech speaker set w/o research first.
Anyway, this is a 5.1 set, 280w, with 3 input connectors

and my motherboard has on-board audio, which as a non-audiophile, im perfectly happy with. my dfi nf3 mobo claims to have 8ch, 24 bit audio

it seems to have the necessary input jacks. what do u guys think? do i need a sound carD?
thx

You're fine.

"im perfectly happy with" is the most important part of your post. Integrated sound has come a long way.

I think it's a better idea to get a nicer speaker set than to get a budget set and a soundcard for the same price. If you want a soundcard later on, you can always just add one in.
