Will Springdale be able to run Prescots?

Someone in another thread mentioned that Springdale will not be able to run Prescots like Canterwood. Is this true?

Should be able to I thought the only difference was no CSA and turbo mode for the springdales.

The msi i865 board suggests that it can support prescott, on their website at least.

I think the Springdales and Canterwoods both support the prescot

Affirmative on that support. Intel is releasing Prescott with a 478 pin design.

Officially it most definitely does support Prescott. I suppose it's possible individual motherboards may not support the VCore or may have power regulation issues with the Prescott but the chipset it'self should support it perfectly fine.

Lack ECC support, and PAT are the only differences.
I865 is no more then failed I875 chips.
