Will SLK800-U fit on these?

I'd like to get the SLK800-U for a couple of new machines. I've never worked with this HSF before though, so I'm not sure if it'll fit on the motherboards I'm planning on using.

They are (link to Newegg images):
Intel D845GERG2LK
Intel D845GEBV2L
Shuttle AN35N

There's also a PDF file at Intel's site that contains a nice close-up of the socket area for those first two mobos. (Note: It's a big download.)

I think the Shuttle should have no problems, but the capacitors on the Intel boards look like they could get in the way.

Can anybody with experience using the SLK800 tell me if they think the HSF will fit on the above mobos? Better yet, if somebody is actually using the same combo, please let me know. :)

Thanks!

You're thinking about the SLK800-A. :) The "U" adds compatibility with both Socket A and 478 using a bolt-on mounting method. It's listed further down on the page you linked.

No... I am not. The hyperlink is http://www.thermalright.com/slk800u.html. <----- There is a "u" derivative.

Right, that is what I was referring to. I don't know what you mean by further down. The url is the product page for the SLK-800-U, nothing else. You asked if it could fit. And that is what I was referring to.

Ack, sorry, I misread your original response and thought you had said it did not support Socket 478.
