I was using FLask mpeg to make a "backup" of my DVD in case I scratched the original. It takes like 8-12 hours so I let it run over night. Three days ago I had NT4 and it encoded it perfectly. Last night I woke up and it had quit in the middle, just as it had done the previous night. Hmmm. I thought my computer locked up, then I moved my mouse, forgetting about the computer's nap time. WOuld this cause Flask to quit in the middle of an operation?????

Thanks

Standby may stop your programs from running. It reduced the amount of work done by the CPU and also shuts down some components. You do not want the computer to goin standby if you expect it to be doing anything.
