It's been reported many many times in the media that the world is getting fatter. We're eating more, exercising less, and it's inevitable that the world is quickly turning obese.
My question: since skinny people are considered attractive in society today, will they be further sought out by people as sexual partners? Natural selection dictates that hardy species make the best mates, so will skinny people (those less likely to die from obesity-related diseases) become more attractive (or at least more sexually desirable) as the rest of the world gets fatter and more prone to disease?
