Will SETI, ECCP, RC5 or any other DC project give me stability?

I have been doing ECCP for about 1 and a half months and have recently switched over to SETI for the race, and I have a question:
Will running a dc project give me an acurate descritpion of stability, in the sense that prime95 does?

All of the above abuse the processor constantly. It's as good as, if not better than, Prime95 in that regard :) It's a good indication of CPU stability anyway.

I'll move back to ECCp as soon as SETI's immediate problem is resolved. Our battle with Sysopt and the DPC will be a long one, so I figure 2 weeks of downtime won't be too bad. And maybe we can talk some SETIers into helping us out a bit once we've given DSLR an education? ;)

I would jump over and help out the SETI team except for 2 things:

(1) By the time I get seti configured on all the boxes it will hardly be worth the effort. It takes a while to hand config a lan <sigh>
(2) SETI's work units are just too damned big. I figured seti would eat 8GB a month+ on my lan. I can't justify that bandwidth usage when other options are available.

Well if SETI/ECCp/etc had standardized setting it would make like a whole lot easier ;)
