Will Saddam try to kill himself?

I'm pretty sure our forces will do everyhting in their power to prevent it. Also, I heard on CNN that he is being very "chatty" towards our forces, essentially spilling some beans. If anything,this would indicate to me his willingness to try and prevent his own death as much as possible.

Too bad it's inevitable - he's going to die by the hands of the people he has killed.
 
It would make him a hero in the eyes of the suicide bombers, a martyr.

We can not permit it to happen. As much as some may question it.
He must have his trial in Iraq. Interesting times we live in.

Indeed. He was always too chicken to do anything that would have threatened his safety, like posing a threat to the US, and would certainly never kill himself. He was never a danger to us. He was a small fish in a small pond. Glad he is out of the picture for sure. He was cruel to his own people.
 
Once he was in US custody I considered him a dead man. He no longer exists. I just kept telling my girlfriend late last night/morning "Sadaam is FVCKED."

Ought to be interesting to see the trial the Iraqis have. Supposedly it will be a civil trial, and I agree that this is best. The form of execution will probably be gruesome.

i don't think so. i think being in us custody will be a million times better then him hiding out. now if it were bin laden... i would think he'd used that pistol as soon as the troops had him cornered.
