will s754 HSF work on s939??

I was looking at a s939 motherboard and I realized that the holes where the heatsink screws into look to be at about the same place as on a s754 board. I was wondering if it is possible to put a s754 heatsink and fan onto a s939 mobo/cpu??

I've got a Thermalright SLK-948U HS with a rediculously overpowered fan on it right now, and am trying to figure out if I could throw that on a s939.

If not, what's a good HS and fan for a s939 CPU??

Anyone know??
 
It may work, it may not.

Some heatsinks work on some boards/sockets and no on others, simply check the manufacturers site.
