Will Running SETI While Playing a Video Game Affect Performance?

Just wondering. I've been getting some weird crackling sounds in Unreal Tournament and Counter Strike that I haven't gotten before. I think this is the first time I've played a game since I starting running SETI.

Thanks.

Just turn it OFF while you're fraggin' and turn it back ON after , should do the trick:);)

SETI can sometimes affect game performance. Make sure that you set SETI priority to low. That's one reason why I use SETI Driver with the CLI version.

Although in my dual system, I haven't encounter sound problem.

I run SETI while I play T2, and have no problems.

Yeah, it didn't work. I'm gonna restart to see what happens.

I keep SETI running while I play Counter-Strike and RTCW. I don't notice any performance degredation. I just keep SETI Driver's priority at Low. I do notice that virtually no analyzing goes on while I'm playing games though.
