Will Radon or V5 work with AGP = 89mhz?

I don't know about V5 but Radeon sucks at 89MHz. 3dfx cards have always been good to overclockers.

I've had 2 different 5500s that could hit 90+ on my MSI BX master

I have done 2 "tweeks" to hit that FSB

1) Win98 splash screen disabled
2) Up'ped I/O voltage by 0.1v (for stability in games)

As usual Pidge you have no clue. The Radeon works perfectly well at 89. I'm running it as well as thousands of other people.

Shut you dumb arse. It does not work perfectly. I have never read a post where someone mentioned that they were running their Radeon at 89MHz. However I have read posts where people have had problems running their Radeon at 89MHz. Maybe some people do have luck with it but the Radeon is not perfect at 89MHz. I tried it myself with an ATI AIW Radeon. You and ATI are making me lose respect for Canadians.

Actually my arse is quite intelligent but thanks for asking. The reason you don't read posts about people running their Radeon at 89 is because there ARE no problems for most people, if there were, you'd hear about it more. As for yours not working well I guess I'd blame that on operator error based on what you post here. Too bad you're losing respect for Canadians,they all talk nicely about you.

Well heck bubba (pidge) I`m just a dumb ole country boy but I can tell you one thang... My Radeon 64 meg VIVO ran real good in my BX board at 143fsb (1000mhz with my P3 700e oh and BTW at 1.65 volts) figure that one bubba...

I was a moron and did 133 AGP 1/1 and the Radeon actually booted...so I would say it can do up to at least 100, but 89 is definite.

I stand corrected on this issue I guess since no one else has posted to the contrary. However, I have read posts from people experiencing problems with the ATI Radeon at 89MHz so I still stand by my claim that it aint perfect but then I don't expect any card to be.

Radeon works fine here at 91MHz+

I think the AIW radeon is a bit more picky because of timing and EMI issues with the coax tuner onboard.

Just a thought.

Well you have read about half a dozen now. Maybe that's why you could never get your card working properly (if you actually even had one), because instead of researching and looking around for answers, you were just jumping to premature conclusions, and shooting off your big mouth.
