Will PVR150 MCE work on xp pro?

I know the remote is for Media Edition, but did not know if the PVR150 will work with XP pro.

Yes, it works. Just install the drivers from the CD or from Hauppauge's website (there are newer ones now). I'm not certain what network domains have to do with it, though...

Maybe he means MCE PCs cannot join the windows domain? As in windows networking... 😕

Well, that's what it seems like, but what on earth does that have to do with a video capture card? 😕
 
it sounds like he cant use mce because his computer needs to be on a domain, so he has to reinstall XP pro and wants to make sure the hauppauge card will still work.
 
MCE 2005 allows for joining a domain on a fresh installation. You just give up support for extenders, and you only get the opportunity to join a domain during an initial fresh installation.
