Im just debating if I should wait till after X-mas to order my system. I know prices are always falling on computers, but will hardware take a significant price drop?

if you are looking at nforce 4 and sli or any such thing, than definately wait. But computer parts change all the time, you buy top of the line today for $X dollars, in 4 months its always still going to be worth 3/4X Dollars and more than likely 1/2X dollars in another 2-3 months. Just the way it is. And if you wait, there will be newer and faster stuff out that is not out now :)

Dude you will be 2nd guessing yourself forever if you think this way. Just find a pricepoint you will stick to. (preferably just off the top end) and take the plunge. Technology is always coming in at the top and pushing the prices down. We just have to live with that.

i think the word you were looking for was 'drastically' not 'dramatically'

but, short answer, no. There is nothing new comming out after christmas that would cause current prices to drop significantly..
