will pc2100 memory work with a 1.4 athlon

The cpu is running with pc 133 ram atm. The motherboard supports ddr 2100, it's an asus a7a 266

yea edit: if the fsb on the cpu is 266/133 then it will be good..

Yes, it'll work with PC2100 memory.

However, you can only run either PC133 or PC2100 at once and not both. Doing so may fry your memory chips and your motherboard.
