Will Patriot Cas 2 really run at its rated 2-3-2-5?

I'm talking about the Patriot PDC1G3200LLK 1GB dual matched memory rated at 2-3-2-5. The Corsair 3200C2PT 1GB kit is rated at 2-3-3-6 but the Patriot costs 100$ less? Am I being had here or does the patriot low latency kit really run at those timings.

That's a little early for a polite bump. Personally, I'd stick with a brand I've heard of and trust: crucial, kingston, mushkin, etc. I haven't heard of patriot so I'd be kind of wary. Maybe do a quick google search to see what other people are saying, if they're saying anything.

patriot is a fairly big name, I'm not surprised n0cmonkey has not heard of them because they sell mainly @ frys and last time i checked, there werent any frys in virigina

anyway, if it is rated at those timings, i would be surprised if i didnt run at those timings

Damnit. We need a Fry's filter here. Anything that relates to Fry's should just disappear from my forums browsing. I'm tired of seeing everyone else getting deals but not me because there is no Fry's here. :|

Frys is expanding, they just opened a store in Chicago and have plans to open stores in Atlanta, Toronto, and somewhere else on the East coast.

FRY's is the WORST store! Trust me, aside from the good deals, they have THE WORST support and service in the WORLD!!! Not to mention, everything there is open box and I have even gotten some items they didnt put the sticker on. If you dont have to take anything back or speak to any of its employees then it is fine I guess

I got the 1GB Patriot low latency kit. It really does run at the 2-3-2-5 timings it says it does, and I saved 118$. Win win situation for me.
