I've heard several "experts" make claims on both sides of this issue. I'm just curious as to what you all think.
 
for me, nothing beats holding a book and reading it. there's just something special or personal about having the book right there.

It's easier to read off paper than off a screen.

Edit: with current screen technology.
 
I can't stand staring at a monitor trying to read news, magazines, etc... and don't even get my started on eBooks.

Not until someone invents a book-priced, book-sized e-book reader.

I'm sure we'll have the technology eventually, but nothing available now (including notebooks, PDA's, and even UMPCs) comes close to matching the convenience of regular book or magazine.
