will office files transfer from win 95 to 2000???

I recently got a new computer with win 2000. My old laptop has win 95. Can I transfer my Powepoint and Access and Outlook files to the new computer?? Office 97 vs Office 2000 ?? If so should I use a twisted or non-twisted pair for the ethernet to ethernet connection?/ Any help appreciated Mark

yes you can move your files over.
for nic to nic you use a cross over cable.

It should convert the files. Use standard UTP patch cables if you're going through a hub, a crossover cable if you're going from NIC to NIC without a hub.
