Will NVidia release new drivers for the AMD NForce4 platform?

I'm the very happy owner of an NVidia NForce4 platform AMD system (Mobo: EVGA NF41).

The latest drivers NVidia lists are the 6.70 set from Oct 2005; that's a long time ago, hardware-wise.

I'm not having any probs with this system, thankfully. I'm just used to NVidia releasing drivers every couple of months, ala the GeForce videocard drivers.

Anyone know if the NF4 AMD platform will continue to be supported?

We kinda lynched a few of the nvidia "insiders", so I'm going to guess the rest are a bit gunshy.

Really? Why? What happened?

You'll have to excuse my ignorance; I have only recently returned to that AT forums...I was gone awhile.

Those "insiders" only posted, err i mean, spread FUD, in Video & sometimes in Motherboards, since they couldn't as effectively do their job in the other forums.

MichaelD, pull up a chair, grab a beer, & do a search for AEG. Should keep you reading for days.

Anyway, on topic, it seems nVidia doesn't feel the need to update chipset drivers all that often, & if they work well, why should they?
I imagine that when updates are needed, they'll arrive :)
